INNOVEX 100C

Is designed for blasting in opencast mines when sensitized with the gassing agent, INNOVEX 100C becomes a booster sensitive emulsion. INNOVEX 100C is a low viscosity, clear emulsion specially formulated using virgin oils.

FEATURES

 Minimum initiation – 150g booster-sensitive when sensitized for holes having a diameter of 127mm and less. Holes with diameter larger than 127mm and depth greater than 6m require a 400g booster.

 VOD – 3500 – 5500m/s, dependent on hole and rock characteristics.

 Critical diameter – 64mm.

 Sensitization – The emulsion can be sensitized to densities between 0.95–1.25g/cm³ using the recommended sensitizing agent.

 Excellent water resistance.

INNOVEX RG

INNOVEX RG is a specially formulated product for reactive ground conditions. INNOVEX RG contains certain additives to inhibit exothermic reactions in ground containing sulphides or other reactive materials. When sensitized with the gassing agent, INNOVEX RG becomes a booster sensitive emulsion designed for opencast mines. It is sensitized to a cup density of 0.9-1.2g/cm³ by using a suitable sensitizing agent.

FEATURES

 Viscosity – 25000-35000cP.

 Density –1.45 – 1.50g/ml.

 Soluble in most hydrocarbons.

 Viscous black emulsion.

 Used in ground temperatures up to 80C.

 Maximum time exposure is 8 hours.

INNOVEX 204 and 205

INNOVEX 204 and INNOVEX 205 are high-energy blended emulsions containing 40% and 50% emulsion blended with ammonium nitrate. These products are formulated for surface mining and quarrying in dry hole application. They perform best in holes larger than 152mm in diameter. INNOVEX 204 and INNOVEX 205 are transported and stored as bulk product. They are blended and sensitized in our explosive’s trucks on-site during application.

 Density when sensitized – 1.15g/cm3 dependent on hole depth.

 VOD – 3000-4800m/s dependent on hole and rock characteristics.

 Critical diameter – 120mm.

 Minimum initiation – 400g booster.

INNOVEX 206/207

INNOVEX 206 and INNOVEX 207 are high-energy blended emulsions containing 60% and 70% emulsion blended with ammonium nitrate. These products are formulated for surface mining and quarrying in both wet and dry hole application. They perform best in holes larger than 127mm in diameter. They are blended and sensitized in our explosive trucks on-site during application.

 VOD – 3500-5000m/s dependent on hole and rock characteristics.

 Critical diameter – 120mm.

INNOVEX UG

The gassed emulsion INNOVEX UG is a booster-sensitive bulk emulsion product designed for use in underground application. The emulsion is transported and stored in bulk. INNOVEX up hole is a specifically developed product for use in underground up hole application.

FEATURES

 Minimum initiation - 12g booster sensitive.

 VOD – 2500-4000m/s dependent on hole and rock characteristics.

 Critical diameter – > 32mm.

 Sensitization - the emulsion can be sensitized to achieve a blasting density between 0.9g/cm3 and 1.20g/cm3 depending on low or high energy requirements.
